Helping Hand Grant

PTEF Helping Hand Grant applications for the 2023-2024 school year will open in September! PTEF will continue to grant up to $500 for your creative and innovative programs and projects.

For the school year 2022-2023 the Foundation was able to fund over $13,000 to educator projects.

Impact grant

The Impact Grant with Perry Township Education Foundation is a targeted funding initiative designed to make a significant and positive difference in the educational landscape of Perry Township. This grant program aims to support innovative projects, programs, or initiatives that have a lasting impact on students, teachers, and the community.

Applicants for the Impact Grant are encouraged to propose projects that demonstrate creativity, effectiveness, and a clear potential for enhancing the educational experience within Perry Township. Whether it's implementing new technology in classrooms, creating unique learning opportunities, or fostering community engagement, the grant is intended to empower educators and promote excellence in education.

The selection process for the Impact Grant is rigorous, focusing on the potential for sustainable and measurable outcomes. Successful projects are expected to contribute to the overall improvement of educational outcomes, student engagement, and the development of essential skills for students in Perry Township.

Ultimately, the Impact Grant with Perry Township Education Foundation is a catalyst for positive change, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in education to benefit the entire Perry Township community.

The current cycle is closed.  Applications for the 2024-2025 Academic year will begin in July 2024.

Callon Endowment for Relationship Building and Development  

The Perry Township Education Foundation provides support in the area of building and developing a sense of community with internal and external constituencies. This opportunity is available within the Middle Schools to build on the legacy left by George F. Callon, thanks to the generosity of his family, friends, and former teachers, staff members, and colleagues.

Service Learning Endowment

Through the generosity of Ms. Rosemarie Kuntz and Bill and Jo Ellen Buffie, the Perry Township Education Foundation is calling for grant proposals in the area of Service Learning. Service learning is an innovative teaching and learning method that integrates community activities into academic curricula. In school-based service learning, community experiences complement classroom studies and enable students to reflect and take action in addressing community needs. Grant requests will be considered up to $500. Proposals are considered on a rolling submission to the Foundation office.

Mary W. and Lawrence M. Borst Endowment Fund 

The Borst Fund is a directed, endowed fund provided annually to Perry Township elementary schools. Mary and Lawrence were career teachers, and the Fund was created to memorialize their passion and commitment to education.

Teachers Treasures Membership

Eligible 2023-2024 Perry Township School new hires may receive a 1-year sponsored Teachers Treasures membership.  Complete this questionnaire to see if you are eligible or contact the PTEF office.
