Grants Helping Hand Grant

PTEF is pleased to announce the introduction of our new Helping Hand Grants for the 2020-2021 school year! In light of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the foundation seeks to lend a helping hand to our amazing Perry Township educators as they bravely navigate an environment that is changing by the minute.

The Helping Hand Grants will provide up to $200 to educators for the materials and supplies they need to teach creatively and innovatively, as current circumstances require. We will accept applications on a monthly basis, beginning in October 2020 and ending in May 2021 with due dates at 11:59pm on the first* of each month. Awardees will be notified within 10 days and grants will be immediately distributed in the form of Visa gift cards directly to the grant recipients. Receipts must be returned electronically or by hard copy to Amelia Miller (amiller@nullperryschools.org) in the PTEF office within 30 days of receiving the grant. Recipients who fail to submit receipts will be ineligible to apply for a grant the following semester. Educators may not receive more than one grant per semester. Applicants must apply online through the form below and must have permission from the school principal to apply.

The Helping Hand Grant program will replace our traditional Creative & Innovative Educator Grants (both $1,500 Infusion Grants and $5,000 Legacy Grants) for the 2020-2021 school year. PTEF has currently halted distribution of Infusion and Legacy Grants due to circumstances surrounding the ongoing global pandemic. Applications submitted for these traditional grants in the winter of 2019-2020 will be kept on file and reconsidered once we resume our traditional grantmaking.

*Note: If the first of the month falls on a weekend, applicants will have until 11:59pm on the following Monday to submit the application.
