Don’t we all agree that among the really important keys to our children’s success is a quality education? This is why the Perry Township Education Foundation has been serving the Perry Township Public Schools since 1994. Our mission is simple: Raise funds to provide creative classroom grants to exceptional teachers, so they can continue the tradition of excellence in our schools.
In fact, the Foundation has funded over $1,200,000 in grants since 1994. We are quite proud of our efforts and the positive impact those grants had on our students. We may be providing the funding, but the creativity, commitment, and success of the teachers make our efforts so worthwhile! They deserve our thanks and praise for their dedication to our kids.
The Foundation is always looking for folks to assist us in our mission by sharing their time, talents, and treasures. Please know that we welcome your interest as a volunteer, financial contributor, or member of the Foundation Board. If you would like additional information, please contact me at 317.403.5219 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Foundation Board has a passion for education and its impact on kids. Our efforts are a lot of fun and very rewarding! If you share our passion, we encourage you to join us in our mission!
The 6th Annual Coach Hathaway’s Running South was a beautiful day here in Perry Township! We had a great turnout, perfect weather, and the support of incredible community partners listed below. An extra special thank you to our Presenting Sponsor Community Health Network! Please mark your calendars for next year’s event on Sat., Sept. 30, 2017. Check out the race day video taken by drone from movePhoto.com:
With the exception of IMPD Officers and Flashpoint Race Timing, 100% of the individuals working the event donated their time. This event utilizes over 100 volunteers, and we couldn’t be more grateful to those who choose to share their time with us to ensure the success of this wonderful event. The money raised will be used to help fund our educator grants and the Coach Hathaway’s Scholarship.
Congratulations to Perry Meridian 6th Grade Academy and Jeremiah-Gray Elementary on having the highest percentage of participants and volunteers at the secondary and elementary levels. Each school will be awarded a $250 grant! Jeremiah-Gray had the overall highest percentage of participants and volunteers for the second year in a row. Their school name will be engraved on the traveling trophy for 2016.
This year, we purchased reusable yard signs to help advertise our race. If you personally purchased a sign, please display it again next September. Contact Hannah Dale at 317.789.2395 or email@example.com if you’d like to support the Foundation by purchasing a Coach Hathaway Running South yard sign for $5.
